A garden design for a long narrow back garden in Fairview, Dublin 3.

The brief for the garden was to incorporate a new Garden Building along with a garden shed. My client also wanted some space for growing veg and a space for entertaining and sitting out in the sun.

The solution was to create two separate a seating areas one at the house for morning sun and one at the end of the garden as an entertainment space in front of the new garden room. Both spaces are connected with a curved path which is cut into the existing raised grade of the garden.

A decorative garden shed divides the narrow garden along the curved path which continues to the evening entertainment space. Two new raised planters form the small seating area one for growing vegetables and the other with timber bench built-in. Curved Cottage Style planting beds border the garden with two gently mounded lawn areas in between.
