Based in Galway, we provide professional garden design and landscape architecture services  throughout Ireland.

Colin Cooney is a registered Landscape Architect and has worked in the landscape and garden design industry since graduating from UCD in 2003. As a landscape architect, Garden Designer and horticulturalist, I am committed to designing and improving our valuable future environments, gardens and open spaces. We work to an ethos of sustainable design  and best practices, all based on project work both here in Ireland and working in Australia and USA.

My philosophy

My aim with every project, large or small, is simple: design excellence which exceeds client requirements and stands the test of time. I am interested in finding innovative and fitting responses to existing problems and new initiatives for any piece of public or private open space. This philosophy is emphasised through well thought out planting schemes and plant combinations to create atmosphere, robustness and delight. Understanding the importance of listening to my clients requirements and analysing both the site and these requirements rigorously to formulate and fulfill the design brief.
