This garden design we carried out for our client in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin has hit site over the past few weeks with some additions to the original brief. We originally provided a design for the front garden and main entrance to the house. This consisted of new granite steps and paths along with granite capped raised beds either side and a new morning patio linking to path around the house.
The additional garden design element included a new revamped layout to the back garden, including new composite decking on three levels, an artificial lawn and some connecting pathways from the house and decking areas to a new studio door which is being converted from the original garage.
We have also just completed a plant list and planting mood board to assist the landscape contractor in selecting plants for the garden. The planting design will be implemented over the coming weeks.
